Moog MicroMoog J-Wire Key Contact Assembly NOS
This 32 note New Old Stock assembly fits most Micromoogs Model 2090.
This assembly features
Gold Plated J-Wire Contacts
and
5 precision matched 100 ohm resistor networks for the keyboard string.
This is NOT compatible with the earliest version MicroMoog
which utilized individual discrete matched 1% resistors for the resistor string.
If in doubt, check your unit BEFORE you bid.
The earliest version also had straight contact wires (not J-Wires)
which extended from a narrow pc board mounted perpendicular to the key bed.
This J-Wire Contact assembly mounts parallel to the key bed and is shown in the MicroMoog Service Manual.
The majority of all MicroMoogs out there utilize this J-Wire contact assembly.
Replacing this assembly will require retuning your instrument.
Individual J-Wire contacts may also be desoldered and used in other vintage synths such as Oberheim, Sequential Circuits and some Arps.
